Scholastic.com global site redesign
Within an eScholastic design squad, I partnered on a comprehensive overhaul of Scholastic’s global digital ecosystem. This collective effort focused on dismantling internal silos by unifying the Teacher, Parent, and Kid business segments into a single navigation framework, supported by modular templates and persona-gated experiences. Within this structure, my focus centered on technical execution and systemic alignment. I established the foundational parameters for the digital design guidelines and standardized the team’s pages into a structurally consistent, responsive grid system, ensuring cross-platform layout consistency.
To secure critical alignment across the executive suite, I cross-collaborated with an internal engineer to deliver a functioning interactive prototype that validated the new UX/UI. In late 2014, enterprise leadership paused internal development to reassess the investment and implementation strategy required for legacy content migration and platform modernization. Although internal development was deferred, the work assisted the agency-led redesign that Pentagram was later commissioned to deliver for Scholastic in 2018.
